Letter Banner PDF Pattern

The construction of the Letter Banner features combinations of simple shapes sewn together to form individual letter blocks, which are then arranged to form a preferred word, phrase or name. A natural rope is threaded through the hidden back tabs of each letter for easy hanging. The finished measurements for each letter are 6 inches [width] by 8.5 inches [height].

This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. We recommend using a medium weight  [5oz to 6oz] fabric for body and durability. You could go with either a cotton, linen or natural blended fabric.

For the rope, we prefer a natural cotton as it is soft and drapes nicely. We recommend using a 3-ply rope that is 5mm in diameter which allows for a full tassel at the end. Make sure your rope is 5mm or less in diameter as anything larger will not fit through the tabs at the back of the letters.
